Abstract

Ethylene/propylene copolymers are made by copolymerizing ethylene and propylene in a weight ratio between 2:98 and 20:80, under sufficient pressure to maintain at least a part of the propylene in the liquid phase, in the presence of hydrogen, an aluminium alkyl compound and a co-crystallized titanium trichloride-aluminium chloride compound as catalyst. The catalyst is described in Specification 850,910. The copolymer is recovered by known techniques.
