Abstract

1,057,536. Drying pottery-ware. VICTORIA HEATING & VENTILATING CO. Ltd. April 5, 1965 [April 22, 1964], No. 16585/64. Heading F4G. Apparatus for drying pot tery-ware &c. mounted on moulds 14 comprises a housing in which superposed shelves 10 secured to an inner annular wall 11 are manually rotated past a loading and unloading aperture in the housing. An air outlet head 12 is secured by a pipe 15 beneath each shelf and is adjustably supported by flexible pipes 16 to a source of heated air to direct the air on to the ware on the shelf therebelow and to vary the position of the aperture or apertures in the lower face of the heads relative to the ware. The pipes 15 bleed air to moulds 13 located on the shelves above and each perforation in the heads may locate a bush or tube to direct the air in jet streams.
