[Also in Division F1] After a pipe flange 44 has been unbolted from the flange 34a of a pump volute, eccentrics 50 carrying ball-races 52 are turned by means of square heads 49a to lift the flange and break the joint with a liner 34x. In an alternative arrangement, Figs. 6 and 7 (not shown), two of the four bolts tapped into the volute to hold the pipe flange (83) in place are each provided with a collar (85a). When these bolts are undone, they act as screw jacks to lift the flange (83).
