Abstract
1,056,551. Circuit assemblies. RANKBUSH MURPHY Ltd. April 12. 1965 [April 10, 1964], No. 14892/64. Heading H1R. In apparatus including a transistor 4, and a passive circuit element enclosed in a metallic screening enclosure 2, a thermally conductive resilient member 6 is secured to the transistor at 5 and fits closely about the enclosure, thus conducting heat away from the transistor. The passive circuit element may be a variable inductor. In a modification (Fig. 3, not shown), two transistors are joined to one enclosure by a single resilient member.
