Abstract

A process for the production of radiation-resistant mineral oil products comprises subjecting a mineral oil fraction rich in aromatics to a heat treatment at a temperature between 360 DEG and 480 DEG C., preferably 380 DEG to 450 DEG C. The oil may first be hydrocatalytically treated.
