[Also in Division B4] A method of making a cutter for a dry shaver having blades 4 secured in annular grooves in one or more spines, e.g. 1, 2, of aluminium or other metal comprises mounting the blades in a jig with the blades engaging the grooves in the spine(s) and compressing the spine(s) longitudinally to deform the material thereof by means which may be incorporated in the jig. The crude cutting edges of the blades are then ground.
