Abstract
1,051,857. Baskets. G. FERRARI, [trading as CONF-PLASTIC]. March 17, 1964, No. 11294/64. Heading A4G. [Also in Division B8] A basket is formed by vertical tubular members 9, Fig. 2, passing through three horizontal tubes 1, 4, 6 and 11, 4<SP>1</SP>, 6<SP>1</SP> connected at their ends by corner sockets 7, 7<SP>1</SP>, the members 9 being locked in the top and bottom horizontal tubes by metal rods 11, 12 passing within the horizontal tubes and through the vertical tubes, the horizontal tubes being locked to the corner sockets by vertical tubes 9<SP>1</SP> having a bottom plug 16 and the intermediate horizontal tubes being positioned by single tubes 15, one around a vertical tube 9 in each wall of the basket. The bottom of the basket is formed by tubes 17, Fig. 3, between tubes 5, 5<SP>1</SP> and passing through stringers 18 secured to tubes 6, 6<SP>1</SP> by supports 19, tails 20 and screws 21. The tubes may be of metal or plastics, the top corner sockets 7<SP>1</SP> may have flanges 7<SP>11</SP> permitting stacking and the basket supported by rollers 22 on the stringers.
