Abstract

Post files.-A filing-device comprises two tubular members b secured upon a base a, the space between their free ends being bridged by a staple c having prolongations d, which may be split lengthways, fitting accurately within the tubes b. One prolongation d may extend through its corresponding tubular member b and the base a, its end being secured by a nut &c. In the modification shown in Fig. 9, the prolongations g are flexible, and the complete filing-device is in the form of a ring. In both forms, the diameter of the staple member is preferably the same as that of the member b or e, so that papers may be moved freely without meeting any projection. Specifications 8580/86, 20586/97, 24636/99, 10494/00, and 51/11 are referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 27994/97, 5303/08, and 25924/13.
