Stirrup-strap suspenders.-The stirrup strap h, Fig. 1, is attached to an eye-piece k, the opening in which is somewhat smaller than a rubber or like ring d forming the head of a stud-piece g fixed to the saddle. The eye can be forced over the ring and would become disengaged should the rider fall with his foot in the stirrup. Fig. 5 shows an arrangement for attachment to a saddle provided with a saddle-bar n.
