Abstract

104,980. Ferris, W. I. June 9, 1916. Reservoir pens.-A longitudinal groove 15 in the feed-bar 12 is provided with channels 16 which extend through the bar at a point near its inner end to form apertures 21 leading into a recess 18 in the bar. It is stated that the passage of ink from this recess through the aper. tures 21 into the channels causes air bubbles to move rapidly off the end of the bar. The feedbar extends beyond the nipple 11 into the reservoir 10. The channels 16 may extend down the end face of the bar.
