1,049,253. Non-stick cooking vessels. REVERE COPPER & BRASS Inc. March 17, 1965 [April 7, 1964], No. 11315/65. Heading A4A. [Also in Division B2] A non-stick cooking vessel, e.g. a frying pan, is formed by a drawing operation from a shaped blank having an outer layer 11 of stainless steel and an inner layer 12 of aluminium metalurgically bonded thereto, a layer 14 of P.T.F.E. or other non-stick plastics material being adhesively bonded to the inner surface of the aluminium layer by spray-coating and fusion. The blank of required shape, circular, rectangular &c. is formed from layers of stainless steel and aluminium rolled together and further treated to provide the metalurgical bond.
