1,048,685. Moulding prefabricated rooms. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Oct. 4, 1963 [June 14, 1963], No. 23805/63. Divided out of 1,048,684. Heading B5A. In a method of drawing heated thermoplastic sheet material to form prefabricated utility rooms as disclosed in Specification 1,048,684, the shaping mould is made up from units which are interchangeable amongst themselves, with or without the addition of extra units, so that the shape of the mould, and thus the lay-out of the room, may easily be altered without the necessity of complete new moulds. In one embodiment in the Fig. (not shown), to form a bathroom, the mould comprises bath-forming mould unit 27, wash-basin forming unit 28, closet-forming unit 29 and cupboard-forming unit 30 located upon baseplate 45 together with various side wallforming elements and blocking sections 41, 42, 43 and 44, which sections are added to form a rectangular mould. The heated sheet is then vacuum formed into the mould. An alternative lay-out of the unit is illustrated in Fig. 6 (not shown).
