[Also in Division A1] A ground compacting wheel comprises a hub and rim connected together by circumferentially spaced pairs of resilient blocks 20 prevented from longitudinal movement in U- section channels 16, 17 by partitions 19, the blocks being detachably held together by a nut and bolt 24, 21, whereby the blocks may be longitudinally compressed. The rim includes interconnected rings 11 with circumferentially staggered tamping feet 12.
