Abstract

1,045,619. Vehicle luggage racks. V. ROSEN. Sept. 20, 1965 [Oct. 8, 1964], No. 41112/64. Heading B7J. An extendible luggage rack comprises tranverse tubes 1 provided with downwardlycranked ends resiliently supporting gutterengaging feet. The feet telescope with respect to the cranked portions against the resistance of a wooden plug 9 serving as a seat for a rubber bung 10 or spring washers 14, Figs. 2-4 (not shown). The bung 10 may however be replaced by a helical spring.
