104,515. Aktiebolaget Svenska Kullagerfabriken. March 3, 1916, [Convention date]. Gear-wheel grinding.-A bevel wheel of the kind in which the upper and lower margins of the teeth lie on cones having apexes 3, 7 respectively below and above that of the pitch cone, has the gaps between the teeth of concave form, as shown at 4. The teeth are generated and cut in one operation by a pair of rotary milling-cutters in known manner, the cutters entering the gap with a movement which causes the concavity 4. The two ends of each gap are of substantially the same width. The grinding of the teeth is effected in a similar. manner.
