Abstract

104,080. Curtin, D. F. April 20, 1916. Drinking-vesscls made of paper or like material. A paper blank 1, shaped as shown, is formed into a conical cup, the portion 5 serving as a reinforcement for the point. The blank is coated on one side with paraffin or other suitable waterproof adhesive coating, and the cup is made so that the coating is only on the outside. To avoid sticking when the cups are packed one within the other, an additional piece of uncoated material 7 is attached to the outer surface, so that the coated wall of one cup is slightly spaced from the interior surface of the next cup.
