Abstract

1,040,283. Statistical apparatus. MOSLER SAFE CO. Sept. 4, 1963 [Sept. 6, 1962], No. 34972/63. Heading G4M. A card having code notches 14 which correspond to the actuated selector bars 16, 18, is ejected from a stack of cards 10 by an air blast from a nozzle 20, bridges 25 being provided to deliberately cause turbulence in the air stream and thereby reduce fluttering of the cards. Nozzle 20 and stack 10 may be moved, one relative to the other, to effect attempts at ejecting the cards in turn.
