Abstract

Cosmetic compositions, useful for the temporary retraction of skin wrinkles, comprise an aqueous solution of blood plasma albumins, being present in a concentration of 8 to 30% by weight. The albumins desirably are those left after the fibrinogens and globulins of the plasma have to some extent been removed. Suitable plasma may be derived from human bovine, equine or porcine blood. Other ingredients which may be present are water-soluble gums such as dextran or carboxy-methyl-cellulose, sodium silicate, glycerol, neomycin, gramicidin, and cortisone.
