Abstract

Compositions comprise chlorinated polyvinyl chloride containing 60 to 75 weight per cent of chlorine and 0.5 to 20 weight per cent of one or more copolymers of ethylene and vinyl acetate containing 15 to 85 weight per cent of vinyl acetate. The compositions may be moulded and extruded to form pipes, conduits, containers and the like. Examples describe compositions comprising chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymers, or for comparison chlorinated polyethylene, tetrasodium pyrophosphate, di - t - butyl - p - cresol, polyethylene wax and glycerol monostearate.
