Abstract

1,037,123. Filing cabinets. PHOTAX (LONDON) Ltd. Jan. 15, 1965 [Jan. 16, 1964], No. 1983/64. Heading B6E. [Also in Division B8] A rectangular filing cabinet is subdivided by fixed parallel partitions 14, Fig. 1 (not shown), and each channel formed by these partitions has at least one movable partition 15. Each movable partition is releasably engaged with a plate 16, Fig. 2 (not shown), positioned along the bottom of each channel. The movable partitions 15 and the plates 16 each have toothed racks 18 which are held in engagement with each other by a spring A, Fig. 2 (not shown). A sloping space 15a on the top of each movable partition 15 may carry indicating means. The cabinet is provided with a carrying handle 13.
