Abstract

A device for immersion in the water of a flushing cistern comprises a container for a water-soluble detergent and/or disinfectant having a space above the filling into and out of which water may flow when the cistern fills or empties. Also disposal in the space is a division so placed that water is deflected on to the filling before it escapes from the container. A modification described comprises one container as described above containing detergent and a second perforated container holding a solid disinfectant and not having the said division.
