[Also in Division A1] To facilitate cleaning of a milking installation having a vacuum line B and milk line E, a separate wash line F is provided having wash racks H on to which the teat cup clusters M are fitted. Cleaning solution from container T is pumped through the installation by pump S, the vacuum pump D being isolated by suitable switch means from the installation. The racks H may be as disclosed in Specification 1,035,004.
