Abstract

1,034,917. Endless conveyers. SOVEX Ltd. Feb. 26, 1965 [March 12, 1964], No. 10583/64. Heading B8A. Rods 4, 5 from which fabric slings 1 of a conveyer are suspended may be moved axially against resistance of springs 18, Fig. 2 (not shown), and the slings readily removed. Each spring is located by a bush 11 slidable in an attachment 12 to a side chain 13. The bush slidably receives a portion 9 of a plug 6 which is a tight fit in the rod 4. The other end of the rod is a sliding fit in a socket attached to the adjacent side chain. Intermediate cross-bars 20 prevent the chains from spreading, and hatches 2 are provided in a shaft 3.
