1,032,954. Feeding documents to electrophotographic apparatus. RANK XEROX Ltd. Sept. 16,1964 [Sept. 23, 1963], No. 37802/64. Heading G2H. A carrier 10 for holding originals to be reproduced e.g. originals of irregular or small size comprises a transparent sheet folded to form sheet 11,12 having a fold 15. Sheet 12 carries a screen or dot pattern of opaque and transparent areas. The carrier may be used with the transparent sheet uppermost for line images and sheet 12 uppermost for continuous tone images to project a similar shadow on to a photoconductive drum 20, Fig. 4 (not shown).
