1,032,401. Closure caps. VAN LEER INDUSTRIES Ltd. Sept. 11, 1964 [Sept. 11, 1963], No. 35811/63. Heading B8T. A seal cap comprises a top wall 12 and a depending skirt 13, each having two parallel score lines 15, 14, said score lines being interrupted where the skirt 13 joins the wall 12 or at the seat for a sealing gasket, or at both these places if they do not coincide, each score line at one side of each interruption being offset transversely in relation to the associated score line at the opposite side of said interruption. The top wall may also have a central score line joining the score lines 15. Alternatively, the scores in the top wall may comprise two diametrically opposed V-shaped score lines at its periphery whose apices are joined by a single score line. The cap may also comprise perforated lugs 17 for sealing it to a container.
