Abstract
1,032,292. Bolts for cartridge-operatod tools. SARMI S.A., SOC. D'APPLICATIONS DE RECHERCHES MINIERES ET INDUSTRIELLES. Jan. 11, 1963 [Jan. 17, 1962], No. 1298/63. Heading F3A. [Also in Division F2] A stud 5 to be fired from a gun into a wall for anchoring is centred in the gun barrel C by a synthetic resin gas check 6 and a guide of general star-form which may be of brass or aluminium 1, Figs. 1, 2, to be destroyed when the stud is fired home, or of synthetic resin 7, Fig. 4 (not shown). A triangular, polygonal or, as shown in Fig. 1, four-sided, metal plate has concave sides 2 and corners 3 which are crimped back to be pressed against the threaded stud head 5b when the stud is force-fitted into a hole 4 in the plate. The synthetic resin guide 7, Fig. 4 (not shown), has arms 8 formed with thread portions 9 to engage the thread on the stud head and is of a generally conical form.
