Abstract
d,l-Cycloserine is prepared by converting an ester of b -(a 1-ethoxyethyliden) iminoxy-a -bromopropionic acid to b -(a 1-ethoxyethyliden)-iminoxyalanine amide, hydrolysing the amide and treating the product with an alkaline agent to cyclize it to d,l-cycloserine.
