Abstract
103,107. Aktiebolaget Ingeniorsfirma F. Egnell. Dec. 31, 1915, [Convention date]. Gas analysis.-For estimating one gas, for instance, carbonic acid, in a number of gas streams, where it is also desired to estimate another gas such as carbonic oxide or oxygen occasionally, a number of apparatus e for estimating carbonic acid are connected by pipes d, cocks c, and pipes b with the different gas streams, for instance from boilers a, there being one apparatus e for each gas stream. The pipes d are also connected to one or more multiple cocks g by pipes f, and the cocks g are connected by a pipe h with an apparatus i for estimating the other gas. By suitably arranging the cocks c, g, any pipe b may be connected with the apparatus i and simultaneously with its apparatus e. Liquid seals k may be arranged in the pipes d, h to prevent the apparatus e, i from interfering with each other. The pipes b are shown with two branches, so that gases may be tested from different parts of the boiler furnace.
