Abstract

103,104. Hinnen, E. R. Zurcher-. Jan. 6, 1916, [Convention date]. Teeth, artificial.-A porcelain tooth 1, Fig. 1, is formed with a partial backing-plate 2 having stampedcut projections 3, 4 embedded in the tooth, and a projecting portion 21 perforated at 6, and embedded in the denture 5. The projections 3, 4 are arranged vertically on the plate 2. Fig. 5 is a plan showing a similar construction applied to a block of teeth in which the gum 7 is formed integral with the teeth. The invention may be applied to crowns and bridgework and is stated to obviate the special plating- work which is required to adapt pin teeth for cases where a deep overbite occurs.
