[Also in Division G4] Input leads a, a . . . h, h are threaded through magnetic switching elements Kel ... Ken so that when a suitable input code is applied, only one switching element, e.g. Ke3 is selected and the signal induced in an electric loop threading the element is passed via a diode to the corresponding output element Ka3 so that pulses appear on the output leads i, #i ... m, m threading that element. A transistor Tr may be included in the circuit so that signals are only passed from the input elements to the output elements when it is conductive, its actuation by a pulse T2 being delayed so that short pulses from non-selected elements do not affect the output elements. The output from leads i, #i ... m, #m mzy be fed via amplifiers Vr back to the leads e, #e ... h, #h to form part of the new input.
