Abstract

1,027,523. Ball-point pens. REAL PATENTAUSWERTUNGS-ANSTALT. Oct. 30, 1962 [Dec. 30, 1961], No. 40920/62. Heading B6P. A ball-point pen has a small tube reservoir of plastic material having an upper part of larger internal and external dimensions than the lower part which carries the ball point. The bores of the reservoir are of non-circular cross-section, e.g. triangular, Fig. 2 (not shown), ribbed, Fig. 4 (not shown), or hexagonal, Fig. 5 (not shown). The ribs strengthen the tube and increase the surface of adherence of ink.
