1,027,072. Scoops. GASCOIGNES (READING) Ltd. May 13, 1964 [May 29, 1963], No. 21451/63. Heading A1B. An adjustable scoop comprises a container 1 of substantially uniform crosssectional area and having an axially movable floor 3 so that the volume of the scoop may be varied, the floor 3 being moved by means of a rotatable screw threaded bolt 9 carried by a handle 7 attached to the container. The bolt may engage a screw-threaded boss 10 on the floor, as shown, or a threaded sleeve carried by the floor. To facilitate its use, the scoop has a flat marginal portion at its open end which may have a strengthened rim 5. Flutes or corrugations 6 may be provided parallel to rim 5.
