Abstract

1,026,962. Suction cleaner nozzles. ELECTROLUX Ltd. April 11, 1963 [April 11, 1962], No. 14539/63. Heading A4F. A suction cleaner nozzle has a mouthpiece comprising a bar 13 of substantially U-section closed at the ends and the longitudinal sides of the member 13 are bent inwardly to form slide portions 17 and upwardly to form channels 19 for receiving stiffening struts 20 securing the end walls 21 (not shown) together. The walls 21 which are of plastic material and serve as bumpers are fastened to the struts 20 by screws 26 (not shown), and one wall 21 may contain a weight 22 (not shown). Metal slide sleeves 23 are provided on the end walls 21, and plastic protective strips 30 on the bar 13.
