Abstract

A low-boiling composition suitable for use as a refregerant consists of difluoromethane and monochloropentafluoroethane, and contains from 13 to 65 mol per cent of the latter. These compositions have boiling points in the region of -57 DEG C. \sB about 0.25 DEG C. The compositions of Specification 1,026,335 which contain from 13 to 28% of the ethane derivative are disclaimed.
