Abstract

1,026,075. Paper racks. C. T. TYSON. Feb. 26, 1964 [April 26, 1963], No. 16587/63. Heading A4H. [Also in Division B6] A trough for supporting folded pasted paper during hanging has one side wall shorter in length than the other. Both side walls are provided with outwardly extending flanges 5 and 6, but the flange six may be replaced by an elongate roller to run on the surface to be papered whilst the paper is fed out of the trough over the flange 5. A blade 8 pivoted at 7 is spring biased agaist the wall 3 but may be pressed against the paper in the trough to control the feed, by a knob 9 extending through a hole in the wall 3. A groove 10 is provided in the larger wall 4 to facilitate gripping the trough. The blade 8 may be faced with synthetic plastic foamed material. The trough may be metal or synthetic plastic. In addition a wire cradle may be provided so that the trough can stand upright on a flat surface or hang from a vertical surface such as a wall, in which case the trough can serve as a paper rack.
