Abstract

The goods are wrapped partly or wholly in a deformable foil of non/elastic material, and an additional base, on which the goods are resting. The length of foil is supplied from a spool with a horizontal axis, located above the goods to be wrapped. For wrapping, the goods are maintained in a rigid position, the foil being grasped at its free transverse end. The foil is passed along the horizontal upper surface of the goods, towards the vertical front face and along it. The foil is then passed vertically along the rear side of the goods, and adhered to its base at the front and rear.
