Abstract

The invention comprises 19-nor-testosterone-undecanoate, and its preparation by reaction of 19-nor-testosterone with undecanoic acid or a functional derivative thereof in an anhydrous medium.ALSO:Pharmaceutical compositions having dynamogenic, neuro- and psycho-equilibrating, anabolic and trophic properties comprise 19-nor-testosterone undecanoate in combination with a pharmaceutical carrier, for example in forms suitable for parenterae administration, such as ampoules containing an oil solution. Liposoluble vitamins may also be present.
