Abstract

A lubricant composition for use on polished bearings comprises a mineral oil and one or more crystallization inhibitors, e.g. beryllium oxide, calcium oxide, vanadium pentoxide, zirconium oxide, tungsten trioxide, barium stearate, barium naphthenate, barium oleate, tristearyl borate, zirconium dioxide, zinc stearate, hydrated ferric oxide, cobalt oxide, nickel oxide, zinc oxide, germanium oxide, cadmium oxide, tin oxide, tellurium oxide, barium oxide, cerium oxide, lead oxide, chromium oxide and molybdenum oxide.
