Abstract

1,021,097. Electric motor casings. T. MABUCHI. Jan. 21, 1964 [Feb. 28, 1963], No. 2559/64. Heading H2A. A miniature, e.g. toy, electric motor casing 1 has formed in the edge at an open end two pairs of equal depth slots 3, each pair being spaced a small distance apart to define therebetween a clasping claw 2 for retaining an end plate, the peripheral extent of the casing material between the slots between the two claws being many times the peripheral extent of the claws, and the claw tips being in the same plane as the material between the slots. To assemble, the claws are bent inwardly by 90 degrees into grooves in the end plate which is of plastic.
