Abstract

1,020,656. Pressure dusting apparatus. R. E. COX. Sept. 30, 1964, No. 39756/64. Addition to 1,015,949. Heading A4F. The apparatus for cleaning the interiors of omnibuses, trains, &c., forming the subject of the parent Specification is modified in that the frame 10 and the rotor 13 carrying the brush elements 14 are supported on skid means instead of a roller or rollers. The skid means may consist of a single rod or bar, or, as illustrated, comprise a pair of wires 18, each connected at one end to the frame 10 and at the other end being adjustably connected to the guard 11 by means of a nut 20 and a stud 19 extending through an elongated slot in the guard 11 and a loop in the wire 18. The skid means may thus be adjusted when desired to compensate for wear on the brush elements 14.
