Abstract

1,020,338. Selective signalling systems. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. March 20, 1964 [March 23, 1963], No. 11853/64. Heading G4H. In a servo system comprising coarse and fine loops, an auxiliary voltage, derived from potential divider 13, 14, or from a contact 15, is applied to the servomotor 11 when the wiper 9 is resting on the gap between the ends of the contact path of fine potentiometer 5. Relay 3 is de-energized to transfer control to the fine loop over contact 10 after the coarse loop has been balanced by stepwise movement of wiper 8.
