Abstract

1,020,322. Windscreen wipers. TRICOFOLBERTH Ltd. Sept. 13, 1962 [Sept. 13, 1961], No. 32861/61. Heading A4F. In a windscreen wiper blade comprising a backing strip formed by side strips joined by integral bridges at the ends and at intervals along its length, sliding of the backing strip relatively to the wiper member is prevented by sheet metal latches at the ends of the blade, each comprising latch arms 24 connected by a flange 26. The arms 24 are passed underneath an end portion of the head of the wiper member to support said portion, and are secured by the engagement of notches 28 thereon with an end bridge of the backing strip.
