Abstract

102,007. Monk, T. March 9, 1916. Stationary batch-mixers with rotary stirrers.- A mixing-machine for dough &c. consists of a trough a tiltable upon a longitudinal shaft b which carries oblique agitators h working between stationary members f secured to the trough at their lower ends and having bosses at their upper ends to engage the shaft b. Projections or catches are provided on one end of the trough a and on the machine frame c to lock the trough in its normal and tilted positions. The rotary blades h have projections h<2> on their edges, and are disposed at about 45 degrees to the axis of the shaft 5. Each pair of blades working between a pair of statiunary members f may be set at 180 degrees to each other. The upper part of one side of the trough may consist of a door hinged at its lower edge.
