Abstract

Gas-fires.-A gasfire such as that described in Specification 15,978/14 is provided at or near its upper end with a hinged trivet-like hob or shelf A, which, when placed in a vertical position, serves as a finishing ornament. The shelf is hinged to the sides of the stove by means of lugs A<2> of suitable length. A ridge B on the rear of the stove increases the area available for supporting utensils.
