Abstract
1,018,100. Glazing strips. HEINZ SCHURMANN G.m.b.H. [trading as FIRMA HEINZ SCHURMANN & CO.]. Feb. 11, 1963, No. 18933/65. Divided out of 1,014,186. Heading E1R. A resilient glazing strip for use with, e.g. a window frame has end buttresses 22 with projections 15, 18 thereon to retain a cover strip 19, together with a thin, inwardly curved connecting wall 23. Two such glazing strips may be employed, (as shown), or one may be used with an L-sectioned framing member 2. A separate sealing strip (not shown), may have a base portion retained in a channel 20 formed in the cover strip, and a sealing arm projecting out of the channel to contact the window pane. The cover strip of Fig. 2 (not shown) is differently shaped from that shown in Fig. 1.
