Abstract

1, 016, 923. Induction flow-meters MAWDSLEY'S Ltd. March 13, 1964 [March 14, 1963], No. 10069/63. Heading G1N. Insulating block 10 of a flowmeter head is screened electrostatically by side plates 12, 13 and end walls 15, 16. The walls serve as flanges for coupling pipes 20 to the block and are secured by through bolts 18 of insulating material or non- conducting magnetic material. The shield is preferably a tight fit over the block and acts to restrain deformation or expansion of the block.
