Metals, pickling.-Iron and steel articles to be freed from rust are connected to an alternating- current supply conductor and immersed in a solution of phosphoric acid of, say, ten per cent strength, with or without phosphoric acid compounds, such as sodium phosphate. A carbon electrode is connected to the other conductor. Specification 14,230/15 is referred to.
