Abstract

1,016,185. Perimeter. LAUBMAN & PANK PROPRIETARY Ltd. Oct. 10, 1962 [Oct. 13,1961], No. 38352/62. Heading G2J. A perimeter comprises a light source 10, a base support 16, a series of optical fibres 14 each communicating at one end with the light source and terminating at its other end at spaced points in the base support and apertured coding means 30 between the fibres and the source positionable in anyone of a series of positions, the apertures being alignable with the ends of different groups of fibres when the coding means are disposed in different positions. A camera shutter is positioned in front of the lamp 10 or alternatively lamp 10 may be a flash lamp. A fixation spot may be provided in one of a number of positions by means of a light source 21, light fibres 26 and lens 23, the light source 21 being in a casing 24 with an aperture 25 which is slidable to position aperture 25 adjacent a particular fibre.
