Abstract

1,016,106. Waterstops. DUROTUBE & WIRE Ltd. April 10, 1964 [April 10, 1963], No. 14306/63. Heading E1G. A waterstop comprising an extruded strip of resilient material having two webs 1 extending from the central axis has a number of hooks 4 secured near the edges of the webs. The hooks 4 have hollow stems, split at their remote ends and rivetted over into the web. In use, the waterstop is supported by wires 6 from the reinforcement 7, 8 until the poured concrete reaches the level of the hooks, the wires then being removed, thus maintaining the waterstop in the desired vertical position.
