Abstract

101,517. Page, S. E., (Moore, T. W.). April 28, 1916. Small-arms combined with other articles; stocks; breech actions, movable-barrel other than drop-down.-Consists of a pistol made in the form of, or combined with, a pocketknife. In the construction shown in Figs. 1 and 4, the pistol, comprising a barrel 13, breech-block 11, and firing-mechanism, is mounted in one compartment and the blades 5, 6 in another. The barrel is hinged to turn sideways about a pivot 14, Fig. 1, to open the breech, and is locked by a pivoted spring catch. A sliding hammer 16, Figs. 1 and 4, carrying a firing-pin 15, is operated by a lever or trigger 24, which, when pressed forwards, first cocks the hammer and then releases it.
